A urologist and general surgeon, he specializes in urooncology and is an EBU fellow. Previously, he worked at Collegium Medicum Jagiellonian University and St. Raphael Hospital in Cracow, Poland.

Agnieszka brings extensive expertise in securing EU funds across various funding mechanisms, successfully raising nearly PLN 100 million for life sciences and IT (AI/ML) projects. With five years as part of the Bridge Alfa investment fund, she has mentored pre-seed companies, guiding them through critical early stages of development. As a seasoned Project Manager, Agnieszka has managed five R&D projects from inception through execution, ensuring their successful progression.

Janusz Ryś (prof. dr hab. med.) is a graduate of the Faculty of Medicine, Medical University of Kraków (1984), specialist in pathomorphology (1991). Since 2002, he has been the Head of the Department of Tumour Pathomorphology at the M. Skłodowska-Curie National Cancer Institute, Krakow Branch, and since 2021, the Director of the Krakow Branch of the M. Skłodowska-Curie National Cancer Institute. He is an author and co-author of nearly 200 scientific publications in peer-reviewed journals from the Philadelphia list. His main scientific interests include the pathology of soft tissue and breast cancer and the role of immunohistochemical tests in diagnostics and prognosis evaluation in patients with malignant tumours. He is an initiator and co-organiser of a regular international conference - Annual Course of Academy of Immunohistochemistry. Diagnostic Immunohistochemistry and Molecular Pathology.
